Ford has recently released the sticker price for the C-MAX Energi, its newest hybrid model.

The new vehicle is ready to compete in the market with two rivals: Chevy Volt and Toyota Prius. With the distinction that it has the lowest sticker price of the trio.

The new C-MAX Energi will sell for $33,745 after destination fees. Because it has a smaller battery than other hybrid models, the federal tax rebates is $3,750, contrary to the $7,500 one that can be applied to the Volt. There is also a $1,500 California rebate that can applied, reducing the final price to $28,495.

The Volt sells for $30,250 after all rebates have been applied and the Prius for $28,795.

The estimated combined electric and gas range of this vehicle is of 550 miles.
